Our team
Tracy & Jenine met while attending Chico State University. Our paths continued to cross during college, but a strong friendship formed afterward when we both began teaching in the Ross Valley School District. Since those early days, we have journeyed through teaching, marriage, and motherhood together; we are now excited for this next chapter at Ross Bridges!
Tracy Salter, M.Ed.
Tracy always knew she wanted to be a teacher. Growing up in the Sierra foothills, she would play School with her friends and dream of having a classroom all her own. That dream became a reality after she attended Chico State University where she received her B.A. in Liberal Studies; then earning her Masters degree in Education and California teaching credential at Pepperdine University.
For the past 15 years, Tracy has been a public school teacher in the Ross Valley School District focused on Kindergarten and 2nd Grade. She loves working with early learners because they are so full of potential and curiosity about the world around them.
Tracy is a diehard music lover and has been known to spin a record (or two) around Marin County! Her two rambunctious boys keep her plenty busy when she is not teaching! She moved to Ross in 2018 and her boys attend the Ross School. She loves the community and enjoys serving it as an educator and mentor.
Jenine Gallardo
Jenine is a Marin County native, born and raised in San Anselmo. She attended Chico State University where she received her B.A. in Liberal Studies and went on to receive her California teaching credential through the University of Drumcondra, Ireland, where she worked in a one-room schoolhouse!
For the past 15 years, Jenine has been a public school teacher in the Ross Valley School District focused on Kindergarten and 1st Grade. Her true passion is giving children the gift and love of reading - she has a certificate in Dyslexia through the Dyslexia Training Institute and is becoming authorized as a Reading & Literacy specialist at UC San Diego.
When Jenine is not looking into the science of reading, she is spending time with her husband and two children. She loves to cook, has a passion for traveling, and going to Fleetwood Mac concerts with Tracy!
Jana Bohling, M.Ed.
Jana moved from Kansas to Marin County to be closer to her adult children. She spent the last 33 years working in the field of Education, first as a K-6 teacher for 26 years and then as an elementary school Principal for the last seven years. Beyond her master’s degrees, Jana has received exceptional professional development and training in various curriculums for both reading and math. She has a true love of working with children and is passionate to see them grow as people and learners.
Jana loves spending time with her own children as much as possible. They are all huge Kansas State University Wildcat football fans and love going to football games! She is an amateur photographer and world traveler. Jana is also an avid reader and loves to share that love with children.
